A Day in Atlanta

Try out a cup of joe at Ebrik where things can get weird and funky. Expand your creative mind by starting your day off with a latte from the friendly barista. (Location: Ebrik)

Location: Le Petite Marche

It’s brunch time and you can’t go wrong with sharing your meal with your significant other or your best friend in the world – therefore Me, Myself, and I can order three meals because my stomach say breakfast but the afternoon sun say lunch.

Location: Piedmont Park

After an amazing meal let’s take in an amazing view of nature and walk-off that carb overload at Piedmont Park. This park has a variety of areas for walking/running and biking trails to cycle through the day. There’s a nice doggy park for your little four-legged friends, there’s also an area for recreational sports for a large or small group of your human friends to enjoy. No matter what day it is, there is always something going on whether its random music concerts to you accidentally walking into the middle of a wedding ceremony. Where you photobomb the ceremony and all you can say is” Oopsy daisy Y’all.”.

Location: Park between Coke Factory and Georgia Aquarium

One of the many things I love about Atlanta is that there are a lot of family fun activities available. You can make your way over to downtown Atlanta where you can go to one of the world largest aquarium and be memorize by the different school of flowing fish, then its brisk quick walk over to the coke factory for a chance to taste Coke Cola from all over the world and maybe share a coke with a friend. 😉

Oh did by the way!!! Did I mention that maybe no more than two blocks away you can go to Centennial Park where you run through the water fountain or ride the Ferris wheel to get a different perspective of Atlanta. Not only that, you can also do a tour of CNN building and college hall of fame.

Heighten your senses by heading towards the Fernbank Museum of Natural History where you can learn interesting factoids and play at the interactive area. You can feed your inner child by pretending you have magic power or run around with life-size bubbles. (Location: Fernbank Museum of Natural History)

Location: Ponce City Market

Are you hungry and indecisive? Well, you’re in luck!!!! At Ponce City Market, you can browse around the many different eateries and instead of being stuck with one menu or one genre. You’ll have an international smorgasbord to choose from. Feel like you want Korean food? You got it. Craving a well-made all American Burger? Yes please! Hankering for a good ole fashion Chicken biscuit? Uhm, why not y’all! In the mood for an ice cold Popsicle or some rich creamy ice cream? Of course you do. Gotta have a tasty frozen treat to balance out that delicious food binge. The area’s structural design is also in itself, a mixture of innovation. It offers a hip new form from remains of a once old abandoned building, retrofitted to accommodate a newly renovated food hall/retail shop center. Giving you a booming all in one hot spot where you can shop eat, lounge around outside or even check out the beltline!

With a passionate air hug, I bide you a good night Atlanta! You are everything anyone could ever want and ask for in a city, with your melting pot of food/culture, picture worthy areas, weekly events, celebrity sightings, historic buildings and monuments for sightseeing. Who could ask for anything more? (Location: Atlanta City View on 17thStreet)
